The Ticaret Greater Turkey Fund was launched in December 2007 and is an open ended investment vehicle. The fund is uniquely managed from Istanbul and domiciled in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
The Ticaret Greater Turkey Fund is a Turkey focused absolute return fund that seeks to achieve a superior, long-term capital gain using the subsequent criteria:
- Trading equities and securities on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, and the Turkdex, the Turkish derivative exchange.
- The fund will evaluate early stage investments and IPO opportunities of fast-growing companies located in industry specific regions outside of Istanbul.
- Investing in publicly traded instruments, private placements, derivatives, exchange-traded funds and OTC products.
- The fund aims to participate significantly on the upside while limiting volatility and downside by hedging.
The Greater Turkey Fund is regulated by the Liechtenstein Financial Markets Authority and is an investment undertaking for qualified investors pursuant to Liechtenstein Law on Investment Undertakings “ Gesetz Ueber Investment Unternehmen”, May 19 2005.
